MY SON JOHANNES AS MY MODEL

For Ric and Daniel who didn't know that I have a son :-) I put now this crayon, I made from him 24 years ago when he has been at the beautiful age of seventeen ;-)

Johannes is also very creative, to earn his living he works as a registered nurse with serious commitment ...

Castor, That really is impressive. I like how you use line to create the form and the colors to give a sense of....I don't know, an LSD trip. I've never been much of a sketcher, but I know good art when I see it. And if I haven't said so already, I'm so glad you're back.

Speaking of art, I believe it was the Marquis de Sade who once said:

"Hey, get your finger outta my ass!"

Oh H, this is truly moving. I seldom have a strong "gut" response to visual art, but I do for this, very much. The back lighting, and the "photo negative"
feel of the chiaroscuro, but for me it's all in the face and the line of the shoulders and the curve of the thigh.
Thank you so very much...

P.S.-different subject..I also think DeSade was very misunderstood.

Glad you like it, thanks. It's indeed the best of all the sketches I made from Johannes.
