I don't want to make a lot of words about Yitzhak Rabin, the great Prime Minister of Israel (from 1974 until 1977, and from 1992 until 1995 ). I only want to pay my deference to him who was assassinated by a young Jewish student, a right-wing activist, 11 years ago.

I think, Rabin was the only man who would have been able to establish a basis of peace in the Middle East.

Here is the link to a web-site dedicated to him:

Generally speaking, left-wing people are said to be radical. Curiously enough though, I only remember right-wing murderers trying to change History by their own hands. And we all know far too well where each and every attempt of that kind has led us to...
Thank you, Castor, for reminding me of this great man. I wish there were more like him today...

Yes, Ricardo, people like him could put out the dangerous smouldering fire we have got now in the Middle East, but he was too dangerous for his corrupt adversaries ... All the mischief we have now began with his death ...

SJ - Texts are to be read, not to be guessed. If I meant to write about dictators instead of individual murderers, I most certaimly would agree with you. As I didn't, reason doesn't assist you.

to SJ:
:-) Sorry, SJ, but here in Europe, as in Israel, there is a great difference between the so-called lefties, the left-wingers and the Bolsheviks as the Maoists of the East.
For your information: Here are some famous European lefties:
Federico Garcia Lorca, Albert Camus, Günter Grass, Elfriede Jelinek, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Natalia Ginzburg, Luchino Visconti and so on :-)
