Daniel , one of our blogger friends, asked me yesterday in his comment "if there is a Pollux in my life" ...

OK, once upon a time there was a Pollux in my life :-) but the time has gone with the wind and so he did too :-) 26 years ago :-)

Above you can see a painting I made in 1980 which I called then "Signum 1" as a sign for a great male friendship which should be seperated only by death ...

However we've had a great time together for 11 years, my Pollux and me.

I hope I didn't bring up a painful memory. I'm sorry. But I'm glad for the love and friendship you and he shared.

No, Daniel, it's OK!
After the separation I thought that the world would break down, but it didn't. Life was going on but the pain remained with me for 3 years. Then I had to battle against hatred I sudddenly felt against him and then came the feeling of a certain indifference.

That what remained of our love containes this painting and that's important. :-)

But we need to look at such things objectively..somewhere just an event in our lives that has made us wiser...i am sure you understand that..

I really liked you blog..thanks...

You are right, that was sad, but that is long ago ... and it helped me understanding the sense of Maya and therefore I am very grateful :-)

Thank you Russel, there was indeed something enchanting, something magical around him and me... something like stardust .. wherever we came together people paused fpr a moment and gave us a stare and we enjoyed it a lot -)
Before we separated it was a rainy day and at the moment came to say the last time "Good by" the sun came out and we could see two rainbows in the sky ...

A beautiful painting which remains the proof of a heartbreaking story! Very sad to hear about the untimely seperation, but i'm glad you could overcome it :)

I love this painting the colours have a fairytale quality. Passionate friendship where all is all consuming, hate and love are brothers

Thank you, Sue! But worse than hate are indifference, disinterest and languidness ...
