SHORT DELAY OF MY TREATMENT

Today I was there in the hospital thinking to get the first chemo therapy but the woman doctor of today told me that they need yet some other physical examinations because they think now to operate on me first ... so I have to wait one week more for the next examinations on the 19th of January ... my nerves are stretched ...

SINCER THANKS ARE GIVEN TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT ! ! !

A friend of mine recently had similar delays before having gall stones removed. The anesthesiologist wanted to make sure his heart could take the operation.
Better to err on the side of safety, when possible.

I've come to you by way of sue hardy-dawson's blog. I am sending you wishes of comfort.

I have my memory of being sent home from post-op years ago and having to wait another week or so to return for the surgery. It was an unbelievably lonely and frustrating wait. But eventually, time began to march ahead again.

I hope that time goes quickly - through this process - for you so that you can start to heal. I hope the inner lessons you learn will make you even stronger and add a joy as big as the northern star to your life.

I hope the best for you!

it's horrid having to wait when you thought things were underway, a week can seem like years when you're worrying but if this is a better treatment ultimately when you view it from the otherside of the hill it will have been worth it. I will keep you in my prayers

Ooops! Need to correct a statement I made in previous comment, "...sent home from post-op years ago..." meant to say, "pre-op". Otherwise, not only was it incorrect, it didn't make much sense either.
:)

Still wishing you to be well soon.

You are right, Daave, it's better to err on the safety, but however, although I am a pacifist out-and-out, I have the capacity for sufferinng like a native American of the old times ... but it is terrible to endure the insecurity... That's it!
Thank you for your nice thoughts, Daave!

I am so grateful to know that you are on my side, Elmo and I never shall ask too much of you! Today I've seen a great exhibition of Egon Schiele, that painter who had immensely influenced my work when I was young ... I was so sorry that you couldn't have been with me to see his work ...

O.K. I'm going to go with Elmo's lead and sing a song...ready....it's not everyday JJ sings.

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there is always tomorrow

Lean on me
When you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
Lean on me

If there's a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the rode
I'll share your load
If you just call me

I see you,
JJ

I once had the pleasure of designing Wedekind's "Spring's Awakening" and immersed myself in Schiele's painting style before i designed the set. It was absolutely perfect for the play and I learned just what a genius the man was.

You are a very wise man and I know you have the strength to come through this. Take care and know that my thoughts are with you.
