Today I started to plan where I'll pass my next holidays ... first I thought of Asia Minor, but there is now the bird-flu and so I thought of Egypt.

Accidentally I found in the net this picture of two ancient Egyptian friends, Niankhnum and Khnumhotep ...

The story about these friends you can find under this link:

Go to Egypt.
I was fortunate enough to spend 2 months in Alexandria during 1999. Lovely place. So much culture and history. The train from Cairo to Alex is wonderful.

Another painting depicting two men together which once again shows that modern haterd of homosexuals, or self sex relationships, is a relatively recent horror.

Yes you are right! The result of a hypocritical moral! It seems to those people to be better to send their children to war!
This is the real horror!

What an awkward story... Altho I dont understand the picture I would most undoubtably state that the two men could just be close brothers. But the kids behind them in a differnt story. I am guessing that the children represent future heirs or they could be a representation of life.

Hope your a having a great new years castor!

However ... Homosexuality is not a human invention and since Alexander the Great has been the ruler of Egypt the so-called homosexuality was a normal part of the social arrangment between the citizens, although a minority.

In consideration of close brothers:
I knew two brothers who had also together a homosexual partnership :-)

I think that the fact of LOVE is important, isn't it?

Love and Peace,
