THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM / BY DIANA BENNETT / ILLUSTRATIONS BY HANS SFILIGOI ( CASTOR )

Instantly, and without warning, the Star of Bethlehem soared through the sky and descended onto a small mound before them.

It's brilliance was overwhelming and lit up the whole countryside.
Bewildered, the fairy stood up and stumbled towards the light, as the star smiled and beckoned her to approach.

'Can I help you?', said the Star of Bethlehem, 'I have plenty of star-dust.'
'Oh yes, indeed,' cried the fairy with delight.

'TAKE ALL YOU NEED,' REPLIED THE STAR, 'I HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE GALAXY.'
