TO MY FRIEND ELMO

HEYDAY

Among billions of people
I found this man
who is beloved by my soul.

When I sleep
he is watching.
When he sleeps
I am guarding his
vulnerability.

Only the wind above the oceans
knows the secret of my love
and HE who plays
HIS inscrutable games
with us.

Dedicated to Ernesto Dominguez (called Elmo) by his friend Hans Sfiligoi (called Castor)

APOGEO

Entre miles de millones de gente para
la cual encontraba a este hombre
que está amado por mi alma.

Cuando duermo està velando.
Cuando duerme vigilando
su vulnerabilidad.

Solamene el viento encima
de los océanos conoce
al secreto de mi amor
y EL que juega a SUS juegos inescrutabiles
con nosotros.

SUNDAY WILL BE CAMUS DAY ON MY BLOG AS FROM NOW FOR A WHILE :::

As luck would have it ... there is today a great newspaper article about Albert Camus in "The American Daily" just in this moment when I decided to publish something about him, for Albert Camus has been my preferred virtual mentor when I was young and his philosophy is a fundamental basis for the understandig of the disastrous and dangerous development of the global life nowadays.

As the article "Reassessment Of The Work of Albert Camus" (by Murray Soupcoff) shows, Albert Camus' ideas are up to date as before

THE CROWS OF SCHÖNBRUNN

In The Fog

It's strange to wander in the fog!
A lonely bush, a lonely stone,
No tree can see the other one,
And one is all alone.

The world was full of friends back than,
As life was light to me;
But now the fog has come,
And no one can I see.

Truly, no one is wise,
Who does not know the dark
Which inevitably and silently
Does from others him part.

It's strange to wander in the fog!
Life is loneliness
No Man knows the other one,
And one is all alone.

THOMAS MANN ( NOBEL PRIZE 1929 )

The famous German novelist Thomas Mann, who struggeled always with his bisexuality, said once about LOVE :

"He who loves the more is the inferior and must suffer"

SOMETHING ABOUT BISEXUALITY BY JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE

"Girls we love for what they are; young men for what they promise to be."

"If God had wanted me otherwise, He would have created me otherwise."

"The unnatural, that too is natural."

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) was an important figurehead in German Romanticism, particularly the Sturm und Drang movement. The flamboyance and sensuality of his poems written in youth particularly show this, much to the distaste of critics from the more puritan Romanticism in England at the time.

After you make your wishes write them on a piece of paper and put it in a secret place somewhere in your home until they come true. Then tag 5 other people ...

THE HEALING POWER OF AMETHYST AND A NICE STORY ABOUT A MYTHOLOGICAL MAIDEN WITH THIS NAME

http://www.bestcrystals.com/crystals2.html

Bacchus, the god of wine, declared in a rage that the first person he passes will be eaten by tigers.

This turns out to be a beautiful maiden named Amethyst.

The goddess Diana quickly turned Amethyst into a white stone to save her from tigers.

Regretting his anger, Bacchus pourerd red wine over the stone as an offering to Diana, so turning the stone purple.

Amethyst has long been associated with relieving hangovers, or cure drunkenness, probably as a result of its wine-like color and the Bacchus tale.

THE HEALING PROPERTY OF ROCK CRYSTAL

Clear Quartz (also known as Rock Crystal) - "Can bring the energy of the stars into the soul". Traditionally, the natural quartz crystal was said to both harmonize and align human energies, thoughts, consciousness, emotions - with the energies of the universe and to make these greater energies available to humanity. The natural tendency of quartz is for harmony, and is recognized as a "Stone of Power". Stimulates brain function & power, aids clarity of mind. Dispels negativity in ones energy field and environment, aligns all chakras, a very powerful healer.

OUR PLANET IS VAST AND STILL BEAUTIFUL AT LEAST THERE WHERE IS NO WAR

AN AMERICAN INDIAN PRAYER

Whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me!
I am small and weak, I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so I may understand the things you taught my people.

LIFE IS GOING ON

NOW I'LL LEAVE THE PLACE OF HORROR ...

THE BASIS OF NAZI IDEAS

"There is a road to freedom. Its milestones are Obedience, Endeavor, Honesty, Order, Cleanliness, Sobriety, Truthfulness, Sacrifice, and love of the Fatherland."

"What good fortune for governments that the people do not think."

"The victor will never be asked if he told the truth."

KRISTALLNACHT = CRYSTAL NIGHT = NIGHT OF BROKEN GLASS ON NOVEMBER 9/10, 1938 IN THE THIRD REICH

Kristallnacht--literally, "Crystal Night"--is usually translated from German as the "Night of Broken Glass"; it refers to the violent anti-Jewish pogrom of November 9 and 10, 1938. The pogrom occurred throughout Germany, which by then included both Austria and the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. Hundreds of synagogues all over the German Reich were attacked, vandalized, looted, and destroyed. Many were set ablaze. Firemen were instructed to let the synagogues burn but to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures. The shop windows of thousands of Jewish-owned stores were smashed and the wares within looted. Jewish cemeteries were desecrated. Many Jews were attacked by mobs of Storm Troopers (SA). At least 91 Jews died in the pogrom.

FACTS AND POLITICAL LIES

ERNST AND HERSCHEL

HERSCHEL GRYNSPAN & ERNST VOM RATH / A POLITICAL GAY STORY

For good or ill, the assassination of the top German diplomat, Ernst vom Rath, by the young Jewish guy Herschel Grynspan, which triggered Kristallnacht, the organised Nazi pogrom against Jews across Germany, was not politically-motivated, as commonly believed, but the result of a homosexual love affair between a Nazi diplomat and a young Jewish man, according to a leading expert on the Third Reich.

Prof Hans-Jürgen Döscher, who teaches modern history at Osnabrück University considered Germany's foremost authority on the events of November 9 1938 following the publication of his definitive history, Reichskristallnacht, has gathered scores of documents and eyewitness accounts, including the diaries of the French writer André Gide, to support the theory.

Until now, it was widely believed that Grynszpan had intended to shoot the ambassador, Count Johannes Welczek, in protest at the SS's expulsion of his parents to Poland. But according to Professor Döscher Grynszpan's actions were a spontaneous expression of anger over the broken promises of his lover, Vom Rath, not a political gesture.

TOMORROW WILL BE THE 67th ANNIVERSARY OF KRISTALLNACHT

Tomorrow will be the 67th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass. On Nov. 9-10, 1938, a massive, coordinated attack was carried out against Jews throughout Germany and Austria. Hundreds were killed or injured, synagogues burned, businesses destroyed, cemeteries and schools vandalized, and thousands of Jews arrested and sent to concentration camps.

The triggering moment for this terrible pogrom was the assassination of a top Nazi diplomat by a young Jewish guy on the 7th of November 1938 in Paris. Nazi propagandists condemned the shooting as a terrorist attack to further the cause of the Jewish "world revolution", and the pogrom was launched.

In the German Newspapers of that time you could read:

On November 7 1938, Herschel Grynszpan, a Jew, walked into the German embassy in Paris and shot Ernst vom Rath, a German diplomat, five times.

SPEAKING ABOUT BUDDHA AND FRIENDSHIP

There is an awesome book about friendship and Buddha by Hermann Hesse, called "Siddhartha".
It is the story of the marvellous friendship between Siddhartha and his friend Govinda, it is a great hymn of an immortal friendship.
This book inspired me a lot in my younger days but also now and accidentally I found yesterday a free online-version in English of this novella in the net.

I hope that everybody of my blogger-friends will enjoy it!
